Careful Moss Removal
We clear the moss from your tiles, ridges and valleys using hand scraping, light pressure washing, steam cleaning, or a mix — whatever suits your roof best.
Biocide Treatment
Removal alone isn't enough. We finish with a biocide that soaks into the tiles and kills the spores at the root, so the moss doesn't creep straight back.
Three Cleaning Methods, Chosen for Your Roof
No two roofs are the same, so I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. During your free survey, we'll look at your tiles, how much moss there is and how your roof's been treated before — then recommend the method, or combination, that will get the best result safely.
Hand Scraping
The careful, traditional way. We remove moss tile by tile with hand tools, lifting it away without forcing water under your tiles. Ideal for thick, established moss and older or more delicate roofs.
Light Pressure Washing
A controlled, low-pressure rinse that clears loosened moss and dirt from the surface. Never a heavy blast that could damage tiles or drive water where it shouldn't go.
Steam Cleaning
Hot steam at low pressure breaks down moss, algae and lichen and lifts stubborn staining, giving a deeper clean while staying gentle on your tiles.
